How Dare You Do This To Me — A Faithful Wife, The Mother Of Your Children! I’m Leaving You. I Want A Divorce Right Away!” Husband Replied: “Hang On Just A Minute Love So At Least I Can Tell You What Happened.” She Sobbed: “Fine, Go Ahead, But They’ll Be The Last Words You’ll Say To Me!”

Pregnant for your friend's husband?!

When i read this story....my first question is: Why is your friend living with you when you know the kind of husband you have? Can this kind of attrocities be forgiven?

A randy husband Edwin (surname withheld) at the Junior Staff Quarters, Asaba, Delta State, has put his wife's bosom in the family way three months after wedding. Reports said Edwin's wife on Thursday last week moved out of her matrimonial home when it was confirmed by the husband's personal doctor that her friend was pregnant for her husband.

My name is Chinwe, I am 26 years old, I am not a graduate simply because I was stupid and careless. On my 24^th birthday, I received a nice gift, it was a blackberry phone, I always wanted one, it was like a right of passage, my ex-boyfriend got it for me, he was a student like me, didn’t have a job, and I really never cared to ask as he could afford it, my concern at that point was, yes I had finally arrived, other girls in my hostel had blackberries and I would always get pissed when I heard sounds of pings and messages coming into their phones at all hours and I would stare at my nokia phone and wish I could throw it away, but half bread they say is better than none, so I hoped and even fasted to get a blackberry phone.

Birth Control

I have a beautiful and amazing daughter and now it is time to start thinking  number 2. Left to me, i would stick to just having one child bacause kids are a huge investment. You want to always get the maths right when it come to finances but where i come from, having one child is incomplete.

So i thought to myself, I wonder when exactly is the right time to do number 2? Well, there is no stipulated right time. Do anything that works for you that's all my research came up with.

Let's fastforward to what i have been thinking about lately - Birth control. Getting birth control as soon as i do number 2 because we will be putting a full stop to child bearing.
After my baby number 1, i talked to my doctor about birth control. She recommended a pill and off i went home excited. 2 months later i was back atmy doctor's office looking bloated and sad. She asked what the problem was, i told her i noticed the pill has made me add a lot of pounds. She then confirmed my fears....yes, you will get super fat with pills. ( I was super upset with my doc....a story for another day).

Just yesterday I shared a beautiful video. Here is another wonderful video....super hilarious.
My cousin Akinola Okunrinboye was one of the brains behind this video so thumbs up to everyone who made this short film. This is bringing Hollywood to Nollywood....lol.... The pastor is hilarious... You all got to watch this.

Ok, so jokes aside.....This video hits the nail on the head....this is exactly what 50% (my estimate) of people in a long term relationship go through. I do understand that there are some circumstances that warrant a long courtship - Finances (Both men and women want to be financially ready to afford all that comes with marriage- a home, a job, atleast a car etc), Age (Some people are just too young to start a marriage hence the long wait), Education/Career ( Substantial education and career not over the top).

On the other hand, some people are just plain selfish. They want to eat their cake and still have it (You have a "wife" you are not yet married to but you still want to enjoy the status of being "single"). Don't be selfish, do what is right if the time is right. While you are thinking he/she will always be there don't be stunned when you get a wedding invite in the mail and it is ur long term partner getting married to someone else.

I was in a long term relationship too....it did work for me but it just might not work for everyone.

No-Nonsense Wife!

My friend Tolu (Toni in the movie) shared this on her wall today and i thought every woman should see this. The lesson I learnt from this short movie is - Be careful of the advice you take from friends, No one has it easy - If anyone tells you their marriage, finance etc are 100% perfect please take to your heels.
